Sales Development Manager

As a Sales Development Manager, you will work directly with RigCallOut’s leadership & on-boarding teams. Your primary role will be prospecting, qualifying, developing, and building new B2B/Enterprise Oil & Gas business relationships. Candidates will be responsible for networking and business development through a variety of channels, including trade shows and industry organizations. You will also be responsible for leveraging professional contacts to identify leads and opportunities. This role will require travel to meet with potential prospects, as well as to attend trade shows and conferences as a representative of the company.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Responsible for prospecting, qualifying, developing, and building sales pipelines of new business on a daily basis.

  • Penetrate new organizations/accounts and expand into new business within existing customer base.

  • Provide insight to the customer through commercial conversation, teaching customers something new/valuable about how to compete in their market.

  • Responsible for logging all activity into the Customer Relationship Management sales tool.

  • Attend industry trade shows & conferences.

  • Evaluate customer base and future business opportunities to ensure and validate efficient strategy, growth, and profitability.

  • Must be comfortable cold calling over the phone and in person.

  • Responsible for cold calls daily, with the intent of adding 5-10 qualified opportunities to the sales pipeline weekly.

  • Aid in the hand-off from Sales to Customer On-boarding & Success.

  • Provide exceptional service and delivery at all times.

  • An understanding of the Oil & Gas industry is preferred.

  • Ability to utilize and navigate required software (i.e. Zoom/GoToMeeting).

  • Must be able to work with autonomy.

Job Type: Full-time

 

Experience

  • Sales: 3 years (Required)

  • Cold Calling: 3 years (Required)

  • Software Sales: 1 year (Preferred)

  • Oilfield: 3 years (Required)
